Choji Akimichi is a dependable ninja of the Hidden Leaf Village and a member of Team 10 as their fighter. He uses a family ninja technique of physical body manipulation.
Origin
Before Choji was a ninja he was teased over weight and other things. One person did not, Shikamaru Nara, the laid back man we've grown used to being lazy but intellegent when he feels like it. Shikimaru was always around Choji, wait the other way around but this was because Shikamaru was the only real genuine person nice to him. They had a great bond. After training in the Ninja school he was put in Team 10, the team with Shikamaru and Ino included.
Creation
Choji is a supporting character of the Naruto series, and he was created by Masashi Kishimoto.
He first appeared in Naruto Volume 4, CH. 34 "Intruders?", and his first anime appearance was in Naruto - Episode 1 He Appears!

Chunin Exams
During the Chunin Exams not make it through it after fighting Dosu the sound ninja. Even though having lost he helped Shikamaru train for the finals in the Chunin Exams.

He also carries the Akimichi clan soldier pills which transforms fat into chakra, strong chakra
