Jamil is the boss of Qishan and a slave owner of Morgiana and Goltas.
Origin[]
As a young boy, he enjoyed torturing his slaves especially Morgiana. He abuse Morgiana to his heart's content where he broke down Morgiana who follows Jamil's orders without hesitation. When he was younger, he was influenced by the Banker to use those beneath him in order to be more powerful. He took this to heart and desired to be a strong king that the magi would choose.
Creation[]
Jamil is a minor character created by Shinobu Ohtaka for the Magi franchise. Shinobu Ohtaka has no information regarding any inspiration used to create Budel. He first appears in volume 1: chapter 2 and episode 1. He is voiced by Junichi Suwabe.

Jamil is has messy, long, black hair and grey/or faint purple eyes. He wears a turban that does not completely cover his head. He wears a black cloak.

He is a skilled swordsman, but he is easily outmatched by Alibaba.
