Sarada Uchiha (うちは サラダ, Uchiha Sarada) is the daughter of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno.

Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring

After Shino has announced the graduation exam next week, Sarada wonders why does everyone want to be a shinobi. Along the way home, Cho-Cho complains about her father's drill training. Before Sarada could remark that Cho-Cho can actually spend time with her father, Choji arrives to greet them. Sarada leaves Cho-Cho and her father to head home. During her trek, she sees Boruto fighting with his father's shadow clone along with Sai and his son nearby. Arriving home Sarada asks her mother a few questions about her father. Annoyed in how her mother half heartily answers her questions, Sarada quickly asks her mother if she is actually her mother. Sakura loses her temper and struck the ground, but she regains composure as she tries to assure her daughter that her father will be coming home soon. Afterwards, Shizune takes care of Sakura who had fainted from seeing the house collapse. Cleaning some of the debris, Sarada finds the family photo and makes a shocking revelation. She sees the photo taped to another photo. The photo of her father's included a man and a woman with glasses.

Etymology

• The name Sarada means "salad" (サラダ) in Katakana.
• Sarada's surname Uchiha means "home" (うち) (uchi) and "teeth" (は) (wa/ha) in Hiragana.
